Lourdes is a Calgary-based entrepreneur and Urban Planner, with a Masters in Environmental Design, who has founded a diverse array of organizations including Hive Developments, Soma Spa, Knead Technologies, Leftovers and Fresh Routes. Lourdes’ community advocacy is vast and also includes serving on numerous local and national boards related to urban planning and design, development appeals, affordable housing, impact investment and business leadership. Srimal Ranasinghe, BA, M.E.Des.
Managing Partner
Srimal holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of British Columbia, and a Master of Environmental Design from the University of Calgary. His graduate research involved proposing a framework for trust-building engagement processes that effectively connect with marginalized communities. Working alongside diverse groups, he has experience with facilitating engagement processes as part of larger community development efforts in various communities around Canada. Srimal is also Sustainable Calgary’s community lead, and a researcher with the University of Calgary’s makeCalgary initiative.
Aamani Sidhu, BES
Urban Planner
Aamani holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies in Planning from the University of Waterloo, specializing in urban design. Her professional journey has been focused on guiding and facilitating community engagement, researching policies and the current urban planning climate, and fulfilling planning applications. Looking ahead, she is determined to make sustainable development impacts and is interested in phytoremediation techniques for site restoration.
Juan Escobedo
Senior Designer, Bach. Arch.
Juan has over three decades of experience as an Architectural Designer and Architectural Technologist. His focus is drafting, schematic and landscape design for multi-family and commercial developments.
