Through the process, a set of guiding principles, followed by specific recommendations were generated to inform the ongoing design of the new BMO Center expansion. The end goal was to help design a space that was useful, safe, comfortable, and interesting for people with all levels of ability.
LUKES DRUG MART
Locally owned and family run since 1951, Lukes Drug Mart has been a key staple and part of Calgary’s local business scene. It has helped redefine the communal fabric of the local neighbourhoods by providing local products and services as well as a diversity of imported products. Hive Developments undertook a series of Change of Use Development Permits to move Lukes Drug Mart from a traditional pharmacy to a mixed-use retail, licensed café, and pharmacy store, creating a new social hub for the neighbourhood of Killarney.

Our Hive Team worked with the city’s Community Planning department to engage citizens to create a plan to revitalize downtown Lloydminster.
